Breaking News Aug 26, 2018: Illegal Immigrants on Diciotti Released! Catholic Church Brokers Deal as EU Once Again Proves Incapable

Italy's Diciotti CG ship floats peacefully, finally free of passengers

After a 10-day standoff with the EU, the Italy-first populist coalition government of Salvini, Conte and Di Maio have released the illegal immigrants. Out of the original 190 passengers transferred from a mysterious, still un-named vessel hailing from Libyan shores – maybe not so coincidentally from the SAR area in which half a dozen NGO ships are known to congregate – only 140 mainly Eritrean young males remained aboard the now-infamous Diciotti.

No thanks to the EU, who comes out of this predicament pitifully attempting to take both the moral high ground, and some degree of credit, the deal was brokered by the Catholic Church late Saturday night. Ireland and Albania deserve recognition for their part in offering to each accept a portion of the illegal migrants. They were released early Sunday morning.

It must be noted that the mass-media, even including many Italian sources used for @canusapatriot's series of articles surrounding this migrant standoff, appear to be purposefully misrepresenting all of the illegal immigrants as peace-loving innocents' who are not circumventing laws and disrespecting the order and the citizens of the generous countries who take them in. The mass media's continued deceptive misuse of terminology to benefit their agenda needs to be acknowledged and countered. The individuals on the Diciotti most definitely were and are illegal immigrants, not simply "migrants," as the MSM would have their readers and viewers believe. That their senior editors could collectively make the same, repeated mistake seems unlikely, given the high intelligence quotient they assign to themselves.

The media also perpetuates the overuse and severity of very specific legal terms such as war, persecution and poverty in the origin countries of the “migrants,” without ever providing proof to back up their claims. Where are all of their war correspondents, reporting "on the ground from the conflict zones?" By the standards they're using, large portions of Western populations suffer from the same conditions. The media has been pretending the majority of illegal migrants meet the pre-conditions for asylum – because that’s what it comes down to – while ignoring the FACT that these asylum seekers, even if they do qualify, should be seeking it in the nearest safe location. This is often within their own country - no need to bypass 5 other countries and cross the Med. From there, or consulates in the nearest safe-country, these "migrants" should be applying for asylum through proper channels and waiting there for their application to be processed. They should not be waiting inside of Europe for the 2-5 yrs it takes after all appeal opportunities are exhausted, all the while collecting free (for them) tax-payer funded medical, housing, and other benefits. Even though it's been shown that most "migrants" don't qualify for asylum, the corrupt bureaucrats keep insisiting they be sent - they'll check later.

The recent EU policy of mandating quotas is a way in which they and UN officials are attempting to circumvent the asylum process, and the rights of sovereign European nations to decide who they accept. This short-circuits normal caps on legal migration, deprives law-abiding immigrants of legal immigration opportunities and results in massive societal problems and budget over-runs. Also, if they're using a quota system, why do almost all of the illegal migrants appear to be young males? Ever see an elderly man or woman in these groups? Shouldn't there be an equal percentage of women to men? WHERE IS THE EQUALITY?

Italy has done its part, accepting well over 700 000 illegal immigrants at a cost of €40 to €50 thousand each to Italian and European taxpayers. However, the cost to Europe has been much greater. Violent crime, including rape, murder, gang crimes, and an overall social degradation of European culture is a result of the EU’s attempts to bring in cheap labor, enlarge their voting bloc and replace the increasingly outspoken European majority who realizes now is the time to act – before it is really too late.

Not shown in the video is the part where the Moroccan youths threw quicklime and battery acid at police, “lightly injuring” seven. In the opinion of the Associated Press, being the victim of an acid attack constitutes a light injury.
