It took only a few hours to solve an "oil crisis," rendering the bulk of Libya's oil and natural gas assets – consisting of 4 port facilities – safe. This was apparently achieved through a strongly-worded letter to what appears to be a US intelligence asset working as a Libyan Warlord, Khalifa Haftar. It comes at a time when "safe ports" in Libya are of such vital importance to solving to the contrived "migrant crisis," that Italy has threatened the EU – and by association, the USA – with vetoing the sanctions on Russia over the issue.

So the US president can threaten use of force to allow the safe production and transport of oil from 4 major ports on Libya’s coastline – but he lacks the power to order that ports be made safe for humans? Where is the reporting on this MAJOR STORY?

Is this potentially a way for President Trump to circumvent the EU’s refusal to make Libya’s ports safe for the return of migrants? Is this a 4D-chess move signifying the US president's low-key alliance with Italy's new Populist government?

Or, recalling Trump's odd statement condemning Germany's "dependence on Russian oil supply," does it point to a much darker alliance in which Trump is simply a front-man for the greedy Globalists and Neo-Cons and their “national interests?”

It didn’t take much digging to find that the so-called Libyan Warlord resided in the US state of Virginia for 20 years before setting off to fight Gaddafi. We all know how horrible the whole incident was, and continues to be. Well, he was on the side of Hillary Clinton and that whole regime. And, taking into account the savage nature of life in Libya since everything was reduced to rubble and all semblances of order crushed, it is quite fortunate that this man has survived it all, and until recently, controlled the bulk of the shattered country’s still-considerably-vast oil resources. The former Virginian may even live long enough to find himself in a key government position – or he may be the unfortunate victim of a stray mortar shell. Life is fleeting in such hostile environments.

Italy's Battle for Safe Ports

After relenting on its decision to close their ports to migrant-carrying vessels for the remainder of the summer, as well as gifting a fleet of expensive ships and providing training to the Libyan coast guard, Italy’s leaders were not pleased with the EU’s leadership’s lack of reciprocation in the ongoing illegal migrant smuggling situation. Despite everything Italy has done and the continued presence of a 27-Nation Mediterranean Naval Task Force – Operation Sophia, in action since 2015 – European Council President Donald Tusk and Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker have inexplicably refused to budge on the categorization of Libya as a “safe port.” This is a vitally important legal distinction which would have represented the first sign of substantial forward progress on the “migration crisis” since the manufactured crisis began with the overthrow of a stable Libyan government.

LIBYA: Safe ports for oil – just a phone call and 3 hours. Safe ports for humans – silent refusal… 6 years and counting…

Upon learning of the EU’s rejection on the issue of “safe ports” – following written correspondence by Italian Premier Giuseppe Conte – Italy’s bold Interior Minister had some words for the EU monarchic elites. "There is this underlying hypocrisy in Europe according to which you give money to the Libyans, you supply motor launches and you train the Coast Guard but then you deem Libya not a safe port,” Matteo Salvini responded. “We must change the norms and make Libyan ports safe.”

Salvini continued, asking, “Does the European Union want to continue facilitating the dirty work of migrant smugglers? It won't do so in my name". To make things clear to the EU about Italy’s intentions, Salvini further added, "either they change or we will be forced to move on our own".

It is the people of Italy who demanded that action be taken on the migration issue. That’s why the Populist Lega Nord (Northern League) and the Centrist 5 Star Movement were elected and now share power. The previous Italian government knew about the massive collusion on multiple fronts to aid in the transport and import of illegal immigrants into all of Europe, primarily through ports in Italy and Greece. Fortunately, the newly elected government also knew what was happening and likely learned much more upon ascending to the top levels of political office. What we are witnessing now is an attempt by the Italian government to correct the illegal activities of the complicit former elected officials – and the pushback from criminal elements in powerful organizations – such as the EU, NGO’s, foreign intelligence agencies and almost all of the establishment media. This collective group will henceforth be referred to as the Central Planners (CP).

Safe Ports Explained

A safe port is one in which a person can be safely transported after a sea-borne rescue or interdiction, in accordance with maritime law – and in the case of the “migrants,” a potential slew of other laws and rights. Third world nations which were blown to bits and flattened by first-world nations tend to struggle to meet with newly imposed requirements. It’s possible this may have something to do with the obliteration of Libya’s infrastructure and functioning government, as well as the complete abandonment of the formerly peaceful nation to internal and external warring forces after Gaddafi was brutally murdered and sodomized with a bladed weapon. The CP’s media division, or MSM, does a phenomenal job of portraying the Libyan Coast guard and government officials as third-world barbaric thugs, incapable of conveying a modicum of decency or following the instructions of their paymasters – even though the Libyan government and Coast Guard were completely trained and outfitted by Italy and the EU – and even though the current ruling government in Libya were placed there by the USA, France and other NATO countries after executing or dispersing the Gaddafi-friendly members of the Tribes of Libya.

This brings us back to the massive contributions Italy has made towards training and equipping Libya’s Coast Guard – making Libya a legitimate authority to secure their territorial waters, conduct rescue operations and assume possession of “rescued migrants.” Even though the EU mandate of Operation Sophia gives the EU the ability to go in and secure the ports themselves, Italy has invested a great deal of time and financial resources towards going well beyond what should be considered acceptable criteria for classifying Libyan Coastal territory as Safe Ports.

Article 43 Section 1 of UN Chapter VII gives the world the ability to end the Libyan Civil War, return peace to the people and region and eradicate the manufactured migrant crisis. If there ever was a legitimate reason to use this mandate for its intended humanitarian purposes – potentially validating the existence of a corrupt UN body with a dysfunctional history of acting primarily in the interests of select elites for their perceived causes and monetary gain – using this authority to establish safe ports in Libya is the very least they can and must do. The UN, NATO, and deceitful Western bureaucrats – without the consent or will of the Western people – broke Libya. They should fix it.
