Today is the day America celebrates winning our independence from the British and their crown. If you are like me then you take at least a little time to thank God for living in the greatest freest nation ever established. I thank God for the wisdom of our founders and that they were so well read and the divinity that inspired our constitution. The Declaration of Independence is a pretty amazing document but I wonder how many Americans know how unoriginal it is. Compare it to this Declaration of Right from 1689. None the less it began our legal separation from Britain. America is far from perfect but on this day we commemorate our ongoing attempts to form a more perfect union.
