That's what everyone has been saying since I joined! We're always waiting to see if the platform will be damaged by a hardfork and how bad it will be.

When I started steemit was at $0.81 and there were a lot of new accounts every week. After multiple hardfork "Improvements"; we have no new accounts, and steemit is below $0.20.
The platform HAS Been damaged. My interest is to see if it survives at all.
I am still hopeful, and IF they stop stealing money for the whales, and stop the hardforks; that they might turn this around!

Don't you think they need to make some adjustments for it to heal? Like get rid of the insane downvoting and being able to hurt other's accounts by downvoting?

IF THEY could vacate three hardforks, it would help. BUT, with their lack of ability to do what the end users need done, it is better if they just stop messing!

Well they keep saying they need income so they want people to pay to play, so I think they want to increase the costs or make it so you can't get anywhere unless you buy a bunch of steem.

THAT will finish steemit! They are going the wrong direction, and that will cut their throat. They have too big an opinion of their worth, they are thinking they are FB now. They are drying up!
I am glad I am on weku, and maybe palnet will take up the slack. I wonder if I write in palnet, will it post to steemit? May not need to be on steemit at all....

Maybe they want to make it an exclusive club. I have no idea but they want people to pay into it. Yes, if you post through Palnet it posts to steemit.
