Thank you for the advice, I have no steem monies though, I do not even know what they are yet, still learning the ropes you see.

Submit
Make Steemit as simple as possible. You don't spend Steem to upvote. Your vote is based on how much Steem you have, so it's gonna start small, but upvoting costs you no Steem, as it's drawn from a common pool created by inflation, rather than your wallet.
Just upvote folks you find merit it, as you have time to reply. It costs you nothing but the time to click the upvote button.

For this one you don't need additional software, and it's free.
