I consider myself to be a liberal, but have started to question that. I truly no longer know what it means to be liberal. It certainly does not encompass all liberals to say "voters wanting the DNC to move thru socialism into communism" any more than to say that all Republicans are RINO. We've pigeon-holed ourselves, and walked freely into traps, just like we are walking right into the medicare trap. Big Pharma must love that, medicare is Big Pharma's fondest dreams come true. I'm not sure how to stop it though, Big Pharma is Big Brother already, making us inject toxins into our newborn babies bodies beginning at birth. Under medicare for all, they would know where many more of us are, how much money we make, and whether or not we are buying as much of their products as they would like us to. Public Education has already accomplished for the medical industry: we must be vaccinated to be educated. BTW, I live in Rockland County NY, the county that has placed unvaccinated children, who are mostly Jewish, under house arrest. Both liberals and conservatives here think that is just fine. Scary!

You seem to be the Democrat I grew up with, that I still respect.
Today's liberals want to tear down everything, and replace it all. The replacements they want, are dangerous and poorly thought out.
The Republicans are split in a similar fashion, there are the old fashioned Conservatives, and the RINOs. The RINOs also want to murder our Republic, and replace it with a central control model, just like the new liberals.
The government has NO Business in healthcare, none at all!
We agree on innoculations! My kids needed 6 shots to go to school. The last time I checked, the required number of shots, on their website, was 127 shots...127! That is insane!

I know the Dems are running on hate of conservatives. We see danger and failure everywhere, that's why we want to change everything. I actually had a man of the cloth block me on FB for objecting to his statement that men who think a woman's place is in the kitchen are "evil". I merely pointed out that it is an opinion, hardly evil, and out I went! But those are the Dems today - find hate and evil in anything that does fully support the Democratic Party's slogans. The party itself is evil if anything is. I'm not sure what the Repubs are doing in this regard, but find conservatives far more polite and accepting of divergent views. Is that a true observation, or are they as hate filled as the Dems?

The RINOs carry a lot of hate, but they are not Conservatives anyway! So it is a mirror of intolerance and hate, like you already aptly described.
Facebook? Why, LOL! After a decade plus on FB, they cancelled my account, and told almost a thousand people that I unfriended them! I had a liberal attack me, on my page, and I fried him using facts and references. He got mad and started a porn bomb on my page. I blocked him and complained, after deleting his work. Their response was to cancel my account because it had porn on it, he was not affected! I am done, permanently with FB, they can rot! But, it brought me to steemit, and weku, so it is all good, LOL!
The problems were are seeing are caused by government. Our Founding Fathers knew this, and the Constitution is, as a result; a limiting document on the powers of givernment. Intervention began for defensible reasons, but once started, it became a cancer!
Conservatives are willing to live and let live. We carry defensive firearms, and try not to force our beliefs on others. Modern liberals are condescending, and carry offensive firearms as a tool to Force others into a subservient position.
It will get interesting, when liberals push far enough that conservatives can no longer Live free. Then the defensive firearms will be used to again secure "Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness"by force; as planned by these same founding fathers! With the level of practice by conservatives, with their defensive firearms; liberal voting roles will be significantly reduced! I hate thinking this, but people will only push so far; and I fear we are approaching an impasse....
