... it's becoming painfully clear that both parties' establishments would prefer a continuation of Trump's presidency over allowing Bernie Sanders to become the next POTUS.

That includes Bernie as well.

He's not there to get elected, he's there to derail the progressive movement. What he did in 2016, he'll do in 2020 again. Perhaps then the Bernie fans will wake up to what he is - just another self-interested politician.
