This reminds me of the story of Lots wife turning into a pillar of sand and this also explains how people in ancient times were mastering levitation through meditation which the Buddha reprimanded and how today, as always, Tibetan monks dry heavy wool blankets in -40 degree windy weather through meditation or how monks heat up cold wet towels to dry them:
