While the MSM has been focused on tearing down and besmirching Judge Brett Kavanaugh- USA Today going so far as to imply he's a child molester- they've completely overlooked an actual high profile arrest for sexual assault. It couldn't be because it's a high-ranking member of the Obama administration... surely not.
Former Director of the Centers for Disease Control was arrested clear back in August, but the mainstream media completely failed to report on it, until it was dredged up by the Drudge Report and the conservative Washington Times. "On Friday, [Aug. 24] for example, Dr. Tom Frieden, the former Obama-era Director of the Center for Disease Control was arrested for forcibly groping a woman."
Here's some more on the story: "The New York Police Department said Dr. Frieden is accused of forcibly grabbing the buttocks of a 55-year-old woman in October at his home in Brooklyn. Dr. Frieden and the woman knew each other, authorities said. He was charged with forcible touching, sex abuse and harassment."
I realize that it's difficult to report on actual news when you're focusing all of your resources on manufacturing a smear campaign against an honest and upstanding citizen, but you'd naturally think it would at least get a mention... unless the MSM and their Democratic handlers are deliberately trying to cover it up. Yet the silence from the "champions of women" on the left is deafening. Just as it was with Bill Clinton, Keith Ellison and a parade of others, Democrats get a pass (at least in the press), while conservatives are barraged with specious charges no matter how ridiculous or unprovable.
The remarks by others attending the dinner party where the incident occurred were most telling:

I couldn't agree more about the "ruthless opiate guidelines" they cause far more harm than opiates themselves by punishing the people that don't abuse them... those that do will find a way to get them just like they do with any illegal drug. Anyway, the MSM totally dropped the ball on this story.
