I'm a huge fan of John McCain and only wish him the very best with his fight against Brain cancer. As well as his family too. To me he is a true American Patriot, much more so ( imo) than the current "resident" of the White House on Pennsylvania Ave....who has been known to dodge a draft or two with his poor little feet problems :(

Since when has questions on whether someone should apologize or not for an off handed remark that was among a small group behind closed doors become major non-stop News , 24/7 ??

The White House Aide in a meeting said that McCain's opinion didn't matter because "he is dying anyway". Sure that's a terrible thing for any human to say about a person let alone an American hero who may not live to see 2019. I admit if that was my Dad I would be very hurt and angry !!
But...
The White House aid did actually call the McCain family and apologize to them in private. So cased closed, right ??
Conclusion...
Nope, the case is not closed. It seems like the major news networks (particular many of the ones biased to the liberal agenda) want to keep dragging this thing out and are stirring the pot by inferring a formal public apology from the White House is in order. Do they really care about the actual circumstances and the context of it ?? Personally, I just think they realize this subject matter strikes a chord with the hearts of many people so they are capitalizing off that and putting it as Headlines in their news broadcasts. Plus, it does actually play into the hands of folks who want to take down Trump ,and will find every angle they can to do so :(
Listen as much as anyone I don't like Trump and his vile insults and harsh language which seemed to have rubbed off and given a free pass to his Staff to do the same.
Buts sorry folks , let's move on to more important things going on in our Country... you know, those trivial issues like Healthcare Reform, North Korea, Daca etc..etc..
Yeah I know, those subjects tend to not sell many newspapers ;)
