They just do not like me, because of long comments, so I was about 15 on the list because of one self vote, and I made nothing. Even with 149,000 so even though I have a lot of typing, I was flushed. The Number 2 spot was 91,000, so who knows?

So I talk too much to you? I am not angry, when they changed the rules, Long posts became dirt, and I can't win anymore. Understood, that was why I began posting a lot more, it is more effective for me. I will likely drop the engagement league as obsolete for me.

I'm just explaining why you dropped and it's not the long comments. it's the small number of different members that you talk to. Relatively speaking. If you increase that number, the PS number, then the CL will help you. Long posts did NOT become dirt, they help me every week, but there has to be a balance.

I understand, that is why I have been trying to contact newbies, but they are so RC constricted they can not reply. It becomes too complex, I will talk to those I want to, and may even go trolling for other accounts, when I find more free time.
But in the interim, I think I will just drop the league entirely, and concentrate on new accounts, and posts.
Steemit should be fun, I will return to that. But I am staying here.

I would go after the new accounts also they had anything to work with.
Oh, I found a lady who sends them to a beginners course and after they do that, which only takes like an hour, then she gives them some rc power. check out her post on it. You can send newbies to her and she'll give to them.

It is a weakness of the blog post. the freeze peach account is the place I would go first. As well as friends for upvote help....
These people are Bullies, and steemit needs to block them, or a thousand small accounts need to downvote that account, IF THEY bother to post anything. These people are blog parasites and offer nothing to the platform. Steemit needs to buy them out, and close their accounts down.

Steemit has to do this job, no one else really can. I respect this curatorhulk for making the attempt though! I will follow him, I like the way he thinks....

Just limit downvotes to one per week. Stomp the clone accounts that they use for extra downvoting ability. A Little house cleaning , and this can be fixed!
Weku has been careful of clone accounts that allow self voting with little risk. They locked those accounts, and required the offenders to repay the scammed money. It is the wild west there, but there IS a tough Sheriff in town there. Steem could do the same, without the hardfork.
