It is a weakness of the blog post. the freeze peach account is the place I would go first. As well as friends for upvote help....
These people are Bullies, and steemit needs to block them, or a thousand small accounts need to downvote that account, IF THEY bother to post anything. These people are blog parasites and offer nothing to the platform. Steemit needs to buy them out, and close their accounts down.

sir smithlabs! good luck getting rid of them. To them it's a power trip so I doubt if they can be bought since that's how they derive their enjoyment, being a bullie. That's what's so great about curatorhulk. He's much better than they are and they don't stand a chance.

Steemit has to do this job, no one else really can. I respect this curatorhulk for making the attempt though! I will follow him, I like the way he thinks....

Just limit downvotes to one per week. Stomp the clone accounts that they use for extra downvoting ability. A Little house cleaning , and this can be fixed!
Weku has been careful of clone accounts that allow self voting with little risk. They locked those accounts, and required the offenders to repay the scammed money. It is the wild west there, but there IS a tough Sheriff in town there. Steem could do the same, without the hardfork.

It will take a lot more than one, but they should have several full time people reviewing downvotes. They also need to have a real method of helping register new accounts, bith volunteer and paid, because steem will not survive if they stop growing!
We just need more harpooners for the whales here!

Yeah they need to streamline the joining and training process. I don't even see a need for downvotes.

I do not mind downvotes, if they are LIMITED, for a real need condition.
They should make joining as easy as possible! Without newbies, steemit is done for. One of the reasons I have added weku to my computer.
