They had a problem with a troll that wanted to be a witness. They refused, and he began bot spamming tens of thousands of posts a day.
Dealing with him has delayed the launch. I have had 600 spam replies in a couple of hours on listing I have done there.
Willymac is a witness there now. I talked with him yesterday.
But they are past their planned IPO date. But it will be soon.
I am past $2200.00 there, and It looks like I may have my first over $100 post there( the same post is under $2.00 here)! Even at the 10 too 1 exchange rate that is a significant difference. Enjoying the time there....

Actually, steemit has forced me to record passwords for the first time in my life. That means that a good hacker can now find my passwords for the first time electronically. I do not see how that can be more secure....
They also force me to sign in often, which gives the same hacker more chance to record those keystrokes, again, not as secure! I suspect the security is a smokescreen to a reduced function platform.

All other passwords I keep in my head, That can not be hacked...yet, and I have some wild passwords too LOL! Some the memory key is only colors!
