Good post. I appreciate your sentiment. I've never declared bankruptcy and I never will. I don't own credit cards and I paid off my last credit card before cutting them up. It's unfair to people to overspend without any true effort to pay it back. I understand why they brought in bankruptcy laws, but you are right that such laws are often terribly abused.
