The UK High Court has ruled against a "discriminatory" law preventing illegal immigrants (criminals!) from renting properties.

we are short of houses not people to rent them to we have teachers, nurses ect that can not aford to rent as prices are so high.
reduce the demand might lower cost of renting.

So this is actually a free market vs socialist market discussion, not much to do with migrants :D what I think actually makes it pretty hard are foreign investors buying apartments in e.g. London and increasing overall prices. There should probably be a cap for this...hope everyone will find affordable housing in the UK :)

no it is about criminals being able to rent property taking it out of use in a country that has large numbers of homeless
