Hello, as you are all I hope you are spending it excellent in this wonderful and unique day that we have had the prelude to enjoy and be able to be here with you sharing a new publication, in this case I will talk about another sunken church in another place in the world as is the Temple of the First Council of Nicea of Turkey.
At one point in 2004, the government related some aerial shots where these photographs showed that there was the structure of a church under the waters of Lake Iznik.
Archaeologists at Bursa Uludag University are currently working on the ruins, which are approximately 50 meters from the shore and at a depth of no less than only 3 meters.

In this temple it has the function of a Byzantine-style Christian basilica consecrated and founded by a martyr Saint Neophyte, who was executed in this place in 303. The temple was destroyed and destroyed some centuries later by an earthquake.
