Hello everyone,
This is my first post on this site, hope you gain some type of insight from it.
It's early June of this year (2022) and I am coming up on August, which would mark the end of a 4+ year crippling criminal case in which the last year is spent on probation as my sentence, that was set to end in August. The charges brought against me were very serious and I was not guilty of them. I will post next about this case in more detail, but it ended with me being told to pick a lesser charge from a random list so they could give me the year of probation or I'd have to go to trial and face many years in prison if I was found guilty.
This brings me to the June incident.
My vehicle was backed into and needed a new door, and had a flat tire. Day 1 of attempting to get this door from a parts yard an hour away in Los Angeles, resulted in a blown transmission on my truck and being chased by a stray dog. So day 2 I pump up the tire on the car itself and quickly drive to nearest shop for a replacement tire. I have a buddy with me to help with the process. From the tire shop we head across the street to get gas and some drinks/snacks for the ride. We end up getting a pizza and fountain drinks from the 7/11 gas station. We both head out to the pump and I start filling the tank and eating a slice and take a seat with my door open. We are at the outside corner pump nearest the intersection on private property doing nothing wrong.
I notice a sheriff's SUV cruiser pull in behind me and they hop out headed my way. I gently and respectfully speak to the officer who happened to be training along with a veteran deputy. Because of the illegitimate probation I have had to give up my 4th amendment search and seizure rights. The officer hand cuffs me and walks me to his cruiser, about to put me in the back I remind him he should remove my open carry not concealed pocket knife from my waist. "Oh I saw that when you first stood up" he says, thus agreeing it was not concealed. The other officer shows visible irritation that the rooky didn't disarm me immediately.
They proceed to ransack my vehicle and belongings, finding nothing. They even found a kbar style fixed blade in sheath much larger then the pocketknife and place it back in the vehicle. I'm watching as they turn focus back towards the pocket knife.
This pocketknife was not a smoke shop $12 throw away knife, no. It was a Benchmade gold class mother of pearl inlay Loki Damascus steel carbon handle, hand numbered xxx/xxx. It was $990.00. a collectors piece . The rookie takes 11 tries to flick the blade out and the vet takes 4. Not exactly war time numbers and not a knife made for violence. At this point I know I've broken no law and that I am within my rights. The officer then returns to read my Miranda rights which means he is arresting me. Why? I calmly and courteously tell him that I have broken no law and that I'm not trying to argue but I am positive that I've done nothing wrong. To no avail. He notifies me that I've been charged with possession of a switch blade device.. even though we both know it isn't a switch blade at all.
I am so disappointed in the system and just jaded I literally want to tear up because I've done nothing wrong and they pursue destroying my life with malice and disregard. I forgot to mention that the guy with me was savvy enough to give no info and invoke his right to walk away, with his backpack un-searched. Which was a big deal as you'll see in my next post because the original case from 4 years prior was someone blaming their backpack full of illegal items on me, more of that later.
So I'm so upset and feel so horrible I just return home without getting my replacement door. I have a court case for this supposed switch blade in a few days. If they pull the corrupt bs I'm so accustomed to then they will violate my probation that was just about to end. Not to mention the stealing of my collectors knife. I have lost hope in my fellow man.
This is the most recent under handed action from law enforcement but definitely not the only time or largest trespass against me. I am being harassed and have been since my early teen years. I've been to court dates what has to be 100 maybe 150 times for various charges and the majority were lies on their part and eventually dropped. Mostly marijuana related even when I had medical.
I wanted to share this story, at least the beginning of it, with someone and I noticed this site and it's affiliation with tron. I was heavy in the btc scene from early 2011, and I have many experiences to share in that dimension of my life as well.
Consider this the begining of a sort of loose collection of autobiographical experiences that make up the life of a committed entrepreneur, sort of polymath, who has done just about everything, and statistically has a high rate of ironic, unlikely, or flat out fucked up results and outcomes. I do have successes as well, great times, traveling, winning, networking, etc. But for 4 years I've done nothing but fight the case and live off my savings (which is entirely gone thanks to various stock market issues over the last year).
Please ask questions or make comments if you'd like. If that's even an option on here. We will see.
