Stubbornly I will try to finish inktober today. The first drawing is this: "Janus," after the Roman God that gave name to January. The inktober word is: "Double".
I have made some drawings before of the strange God with two heads. Here for example.
I am also referring to a strange being in the Incal comics, by Moebius and Jodorowsky: the Emperoress - an androgynous version of Janus sitting in a kind of egg. I borrowed the egg.

I missed a few days, but I can claim travel excuses. I tried, though and I made sure to do a new one for the final day! I probably stretched saying it includes all three words, but it was good to sit at my wacom and ink again.
Now what shall November bring?
I love your Janus. For me Janus always makes me think of a Stock Fund, as it was one of the first I set up on my own when at University. I was proud of myself as my friend had finished business school and I was her first 'customer'. I still have that little fund, with little dribs and drabs put in now and again. At school I had to only make my 'monthly investment' peanuts.

I still need to make two more today... and make some kind of Halloween dinner for my daughter's friend and the friends father. They demand Swedish meatballs so I guess it will be Swedish meatballs.

I did. Suddenly there was three more girls that hadn't had any dinner, so I was just happy that I made too many. Normally we make Danish meatballs from pork. But the girls had parental backgrounds like: Chinese, Turkish, Iranian and Pakistani (We live in Nørrebro, the riff-raff immigrant quarter of Copenhagen), so I made the Swedish variety that can be made from beef (normally they are mixed veal and pork). Even though the Muslim girls are from very secularised families, they still learn to loathe pork :) It was accompanied with mash potato and ligonberry jam as is the traditional way in Sweden.

I read the Incal when I was a teenager and I remember that every time a new one was published we all ran to the bookstore :)
