For 'snow' I thought of the classic Calvin and Hobbes snowman comics. I resisted looking them up before doing my sketch to avoid too much direct influence. You have to appreciate how much a comic artist can convey with just a few lines. Here is my attempt.
Yes, I know it is not great, but we all start somewhere and I have not done a huge amount of drawing.
It is #FollowFriday today as well, so I will incorporate that into this post.
Firstly I would say to check out the #inktober tag as there is so much cool art there that deserves a vote. Let us see if we can get some of it trending. That is more likely to attract artists than endless posts about Steem. I would hope some orcas and whales would support this challenge. I know @ocd are at least.
I will also mention @papilloncharity who has been on Steem for ages posting cool nature pictures as well as updates on his charity that helps needy people in South Africa.
@johan.norberg is a musician who joined Steem a year ago, but only just did his introduction post. Through him I also found @bakingjazzpower, another musician who just joined and already has some cool music on Steem.
Steem has such great potential for artists and musicians, so we should encourage those who are already here as they will spread the word. We all need more cool art in our lives.
