The 17th prompt for #inktober is "journal." I am playing a game where I generate an AI image for each of the prompts which I put here on SteemIt.
I then take a stab at drawing a picture which I put on something called Verify Your Brain which wants posts created with human brains.
A journal is a daily ledger. It is common for keep to keep journals in fancy bound values.
My first thought was to generate an image of a hand writing in a journal. Night Cafe creates compelling images. Unfortunately, AI still has a drawing hands. The images had hands with extra fingers. Hands appearing out of nowhere.
AI doesn't understand pens either. It would put the nib on the wrong end of the pen or it would drawn pens with nibs at both ends.
I finally gave up.
Interestingly, Night Cafe is extremely does a superb job of drawing popup books.
I live in the Mountain West. Many of the early pioneers kept detailed journals; So I asked NightCafe to generate the image of a popup book revealing a relief about pioneers on the Oregon Trail.
