Those things are the sound of summer

They make natural music and very loud everytime they have "sex party"... wkwkwk...

Nice photography sir

The only thing I like about these true bugs is their wings. Photos are too good because I can se every little detail which I would prefer not to see...ew! LOL! : )

i almost thought it's a sea cucumber.

Bahasa acehnya " adee khueng" alias gareng, hehe

My skin is crawling.

I can't believe I used to catch them with the net as a child...they are not only noisy but also big!!!😨 Great close up photos as always. It reminded me all the details of the bug I've seen as a child.

Great pictures thank you. Reminds me of when I lived in Greece, I miss them on a hot summer day in the U.K. Their gentle clicking is easy to get used to.

Cicadas are one of my favorite insects. Catching them as a kid was one my favorite things to do. I will always let them unharmed after "playing" with them for a while :)

Btw a friendly suggestion. For the posts you feature flowers or animals you might also want to add some extra info (about 300-500 words) along with some proper references (like wikipedia and eol.org) that would make these posts possibly eligible for a juicy steemstem vote too. :)
