Atlas Moth, Philippines

in insects •  7 years ago

An amazing (horrifying) Atlas moth discovered in the Philippines last year. They are one of the largest species of moth in the world, its wingspan was about 20cm. Fortunately they don't have mouths as moths and so they can't eat you.
