For a long time i was wondering if it is possible to decolorize subject to the point that it looks same as electron microscope photos - grayscale photos which show perfectly forms and details but no material properties or color. Recently i discovered Photometric stereo technique and saw potential for my goal. After some struggles we can see the results on the video. Thanks to Photometric stereo qualities we can use dynamic light in addition to ability for decolorization (removed color information).
This is not exactly looks like electron microscope but i am satisfied for now.
Combined with Wiggling 3D, the result looks mesmerizing.
