Scriptures on faith: That your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight

The kingdom of God is the development of man towards integrity, towards the likeness of God, understanding God as wisdom itself. And this development is the development of man in love, a love that gives us the superior gifts of understanding, wisdom and discernment. The letter to the Philippians expresses this teaching in this way: "And this is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight, so that you may be able to discern what is the best and may be pure and blameless for the day of Christ, filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ - to the glory and praise fo God.", Philippians 1:9-11

The Love of Charity is an infused virtue and perfection, a quality of God: "Because God's love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.", Romans 5:5.
But to receive this love you have to be born of the water and the spirit: "Jesus said to Simon Peter: Simon, son of John, do you agape more than these? Yes, Lord, you know that I philia you", John 21:15-16. Jesus asks Saint Peter if he has spiritual love, the love projected towards all the work of God; Saint Peter replies that his love is the love that is born from virtue and from the likeness of friends: Philia.
According to the faith being born of water and spirit is the change from Philia to Agape, love is perfected in truth, and truth is precision and accuracy, this is why, it is also the change from reason to the gift of knowledge. The intelligence transformed by the vision allows us to discern, but not only about the everyday things of life, but also about the hidden of God.
God's love allows us to see the world with God's eyes, that is, with purity of heart: "To the pure all things are pure", Titus 1:15.
