The Act of Giving

Christmas is the season of giving and sharing love. Giving is an act of sowing, and whenever we sow we expect to reap. The beauty in the act of giving is that if follows the law of sowing and reaping, which ensures that anything we put into the universe does not just return to us exactly the amount we sowed but with multiplication. Following this principle, the act of giving is more of a blessing to the giver than to the receiver. A man that sacrifices his last seeds for planting, knows that in due season the seeds will grow and bring more fruits. Giving is the secret behind true rich people.

There is an energy of love and thoughtfulness behind every true act of giving. This energy is more important than the item of gift. But this is does not mean we should give what is poor, nevertheless the emphasis is on giving with love. Most times people immediately pick up the thoughtfulness attached to the gift even without even opening it, they smile, and they may also experience a warmth feeling. Each time we give, let it emanate from love, because love is paramount.

Giving is method of controlling what comes to us in the future. For example, if you want love, then give love. If you want peace, then share peace etc. A lot of people may complain they do not have anything to give, the truth is that the act of giving is not limited to material things. We can give our time, love, prayers, smile, and share happiness with others. Life revolves around giving, and a man that needs growth and improvement should learn how to give.

It is true that even at the darkest moments when you feel like you have nothing, if you share something, even with a stranger, you will feel the greatest reward. Children learn to be giving by witnessing their parents generosity with everyone around them.

#Giving opens doors for receiving

I like your thoughts @bestgift

A great topic and values I liked about your words

A major topic

Wow, nice! If you want love, you give love.

It's feels so warm post.
I follow you :)

Give happily and cheerfully. You will never lack

My favourite topic: Giving. Giving has this sense of excitement to accompany it from both the giver and the receiver. You can sometimes give without really loving or knowing the person intimately, but you can not love without giving. Giving to someone who might not be able repay you is so much fun and rewarding. Sharing and giving is nice. During this period, giving is key. Thank you for this reminder.

Awesome write up.
The most touching part to me was where you talked about giving not only limited to material things.
You can give attention, a listening ear, your time and even your smile.
Nothing is too small to give and nothing is too big to give also.
Merry Christmas and a happy new year in advance to all.

Yea... I strongly agree with you. "If you want love, then give love. If you want peace, then share peace." Just awesome...thanks for share.

Yes,give kindness,and will receive kindness

Keep up the good work :)

Always nice to get gifts, especially at Christmas.
Any gift is an expression of love and care. You should try to do it as often as possible.

Hmm! Great topic you chose there!
For me, there is this smile i get on the face of people whenever i give to them. A smile so simple but beautifully complex to explain with words.
I ever since i understood this principle to moving foward(giving!), I have been applying religiously. And trust me, it has been paying off! I can't even remember the last time i was ever in need because orchestrated supplies have always gravitated towards me.
Interestingly, like you rightly pointed out, it is not always or necessary a function of the magnitude(it matters sometimes though)of what is being given, but a function of the heart performing the ritual(giving).
Thanka so much for this!

give, care , show kindness and always be humble .follow these principles and only good things will come in the short and long run

Kip up ,nice post 😍

Great post thanks..

Karma should never bee forgotten. Pay it forward is probably one of the best movies i have seen about this. For those who has not seen it. Do that now.
One man said once, ask and you should get. Why not say give and you will get back, but give without expectations, give with love. And Karma will make sure that you will get back what you gave and much more

I was blessed dear. No love without giving

Great post @bestgift, we. We should give from the heart without expecting anything in return. We just have the gift giving from the 12 families here in Cebu with the Steemiann Cebu. That was so fulfilling, giving a smile to those people who are need.

Keep posting!

Love
@micch

Believe me..i always give money and food to the poor in first christmas day..they are so happy...their happiness is also my happines...Every person should give to the others that don t have...we are all humans..

I enjoyed this short read. I always tell people that I give because it makes me feel good. There is nothing altruistic about it.

Well done keep it up

Wow, this is soo true. Giving to an other person is beautiful espacially if you give more then material things.

Keep posting. xx

You're absolutely right
Gifts are not just tied to material things, putting a smile on someone's face could just be more than enough
