As we know stress may cause some irreversible conditions to the body as it can worsen some. Some people die or become permanently paralysed due to stroke caused by stress.

Most of the stress are stress from work, business that don't go as we planned, pressure of your boss, fear of being fired and so on. Though we need to do our best so that we can afford important things in our lives; things that we desire, we have to relax and have enough rest. We need that balance of health and wealth.

I absolutely agree with you. More rest == healthier mind and body, which makes it possible to do a better job and enjoy working. Now they are saying that sleep is as important as diet or exercise, and that everybody should get at least seven hours per night.

I learned this from you @heymattsokol

Sleep is as important as diet or exercise.

Thank you!

Interesting take on rest! I am a firm believer in no good coming out of constant work and stress, however, I do not think that doing less work fixes this problem. The attitude we have towards work, whether we let it stress us out, whether we get dissapointed in the lack of results we expect, etc., all of this is determined by our mood and approach to work or any given situation that is.

Rest is vital to maintaining a healthy and balanced life, but personally I would dare to place more emphasis on working on one's ability to 'work without working' - finding joy and peace in whatsoever task one undertakes; this sole attitude eliminates stress and leaves no room for overwhelment and worry.
