LIFE SEEM TO BE DIFFICULT; NO BURDEN TO CARRY

Happy New Month to you all my fellow Athenians..... In this month of March.... We all will March forward.....
There is a story I found and I will use it here for better understanding of the topic,and it goes like these;

Sadhu Sundar Singh, a Hindu convert to Christianity, he became a missionary to his people in India. Late one afternoon, Sadhu was traveling on foot through the Himalayas with a Buddhist monk. It was bitterly cold and the wind felt like sharp blades slicing into their skins. Night was fast approaching when the monk warned Sadhu that they were in danger of freezing to death if they did not reach monastery before darkness fell. Suddenly, I'm a narrow path above a steep precipice, they heard a cry for help. At the foot if the cliff lay a man, fallen and badly hurt. The monk looked at Sadhu and said it served him right. God is punishing him for his sins. "let us hurry on before we, too, perish." But Sadhu replied, "Hot has sent me here to help my brother. I cannot abandon him." But the mink continued his journey without helping the man. Then Sadhu made any sling of his blanket and tied the man on his back. Oh, it was a heavy burden! With determination, Sadhu masochist way through the deepening snow and darkness. Finally, he saw ahead the lights if the monastery. Then, for the first time, Sadhu stumbled and nearly fell. But not from weakness. He had stumbled over an object lying in the snow-covered road. Slowly he bent down on one knee and brushed the snow off the object. It was the body of the monk, frozen to death. Years later, a disciple of Sadhu asked him, "what is life's most difficult task? " without hesitation, Sadhu replied: "To have no burden to carry."

What a fact! Remember that God will send people to you because before you can locate your answer in life, you must be an answer to someone's question. No act of kindness is ever wasted. Our prime purpose in life is to help others and if you cannot help them, at least don't hurt them. Don't go to bed any day without stretching down your hand to offer water to somebody. Give something back to the society. Joseph had to interpret the dream of Pharaoh before his own dream could be interpreted. You have two hands because the first is to help yourself and the second is to help others. Albeit Schweitzer wrote "do something for somebody everyday for which you don't get paid. " If you light a lamp for somebody, it will also brighten your path.

Do you want to snatch a day from the chains of boredom? Do over-generous deeds, ask beyond reimbursement and show kindness without compensation? Do you do a deed which you cannot be repaired like Joseph,Nehemiah and Ruth did? Do you know that Nehemiah thought that his good was not being appreciated? He had to pray this prayer:"Think upon me, my God, for good, according to all that I have done for this people" —Neh 5:19. Funny, but that's how millions feel!
