New Day
Anna Eleanor Roosevelt (October 11, 1884 – November 7, 1962) was an American politician, diplomat and activist. She was the longest-serving First Lady of the United States, having held the post from March 1933 to April 1945 during her husband President Franklin D. Roosevelt's four terms in office, and served as United States Delegate to the United Nations General Assembly from 1945 to 1952. President Harry S. Truman later called her the "First Lady of the World" in tribute to her human rights achievements.

This is my first quote from Eleanor and it is a good one.
“With the new day comes new strength and new thoughts.”
Let's face it.
There are days when we feel completely defeated.
Days when nothing seems to go right no matter what attitude or we happy hippy bullshit we've pulled.
Times when all the positive thinking we muster just can't seem to make any difference.
Remember one thing before I say any more...
The experiences we are having now are the result of thought and actions of our past...
The thoughts and actions we have now will result in what we experience in our future.
Plainly put, if you are feeling like shit today it is rarely because today is somehow shit.

It is far more often the case that today's feeling is due to some past crap you are getting through.
So use this knowledge to make your tomorrow better.
Now, back to the point.
No matter how bad you feel today, tomorrow is a new day.
Tomorrow is also yet to come.
If you look at each new day as a type of reset.
A starting over.
Or even that sleep the night prior as a checkpoint of sorts.
You will begin to see that you have control over all your today's.
That you are in the drivers seat.

Choose when you wake up what day you will have.
Even if crap from the past has created experiences that make today crappy again, you will be in control of your tomorrows.
By making today great, even when the odds are against you, you are literally creating brighter tomorrows.
Get good sleep.
Rest well.
Each time you do it replenishes your strength and vigor.
Use that newfound strength each day to push yourself into a great feeling and great actions.
Those actions and feelings are what become your future.
Use them wisely.
Remember,
“With the new day comes new strength and new thoughts.”
