MOMENT OF TRANSFORMATION#8: BEING GRATEFUL FOR TODAY AND EVERYTHING IN IT

A while ago a friend of mine was involved in a life threatening incident, thankfully she got out with a few bruises and her life,but without her phone though. It would have been bad though if things went south, like life threatening bad. That got me thinking, I have been in many situations, circumstances, scenarios, and environments that has taken the life of many people. What I'm implying is that, I've been in a car for long distance journeys before, I've crossed roads carelessly before, embarked on excursions, I've walked through the bush in the dark before,even been at the sea side before, and here I am still alive and kicking behind my computer screen writing this post.

Now for all the instances I laid out earlier, there have been few to many people that have met their peril there and it's no joke. You know something interesting?, you'd hear how someone lost their lives and you'd marvel whether their lives even meant anything.

Well their lives did mean something to someone, and so does ours. It just so happens that we have a God that has gifted us with the opportunity to be among the living today.

• And so I'm going to be forever grateful to him for my life, for everyday that I live and for my "circumstances", because if I consider my situations to be bad then what would our brethren in the war areas say then.

• I'm going to be forever grateful for my family, my friends and everyone in my social circle because they were all specifically chosen for me.

• I'm going to be forever grateful for not witnessing any accidents or gruesome scenes in my twenty years on this planet, neither have I even been involved in one, not even by a close shave.

• And I'm going to be forever grateful to God for the life of my friend who was mugged, thankfully she wasn't touched and she's alive and kicking. It would have probably been bad for me though if things went otherwise since I'm not used to people around me "Losing their lives", if I may say that bluntly. Something I'm also grateful to God about.

You should also be grateful too, for your life, for your circumstances (Trust me there are people in worse situations) and for today in everyday. Just be thankful without reason, from deep down within you, to GOD ALMIGHTY.

So you see, there's no need to be grumpy about anything, let's just be grateful infinitely and wholeheartedly and we're going to see how bright we're going to be
