THE ADVENTURES OF THE 24/7 STEEMHEAD – Episode 5 – CONTENT CREATION & HEAD WOUNDS

in inspiration •  7 years ago  (edited)

What happens to a person when they are consumed by STEEMIT, and live, eat, and breathe STEEM 24 hours a day, 7 days a week?

They become a 24/7 STEEMHead, viewing every detail of their life through the lens of how it can be applied to steemit.

This is a story from the life of one such individual, a 24/7 STEEMHead.

CREATING CONTENT & HEAD WOUNDS

It started out as such a normal day… well a normal day for a STEEMhead on vacation anyway. The plan was simple enough, just take a drive to the beach with a few of the kids and have a nice afternoon in the surf and sun. Of course some content creation was also on the menu, as it should be for a 24/7 STEEMhead, but, other than that, all was pretty normal.

The beach proved to be a pleasant opportunity for the little ones to splash and play. The STEEMhead was hard at work finding content. With ideas in the mind and a camera in the hand, it was time to find some good post material. Originally, the STEEMhead had planned on finding some crabs at the sea shore to take some photos of and make some videos of too. All was going according to plan until suddenly…

HEAD WOUND!

In a situation like this, one has to act fast or things may not turn out as well as they could. Thankfully, the camera in the STEEMhead’s hand was ready for action. Since selfies take the least amount of time, he took a few of them first.

If someone else saw the blood, they might dial 911. Paramedics hate allowing people to take good “blood selfies” and always clean up stuff like that right away. In the event of a bloody head wound, selfies should be first on the list for any serious content creator or poster on steemit.

These are words from the wise folks, so pay attention if you really want to steemit!

DON’T FORGET TO VLOG!

Vlogging is rapidly becoming the new blogging for those who can’t quite type good words for reading, or something. If you can hit the record button instead of the selfie button, you can pretty much vlog. You just have to remember to, like, say stuff and do things.

Our STEEMhead was no different than other opportunistic vloggers. After those quick selfies it was time to record. Remember, opportunities like this, especially when they are not staged are basically digital gold. If you ever have a serious chance at going viral, a head wound will probably be it.

DON'T FORGET TO STICK WITH THE PLAN!

Blessed with this incredible new content that seemed to just suddenly hit him in the head, the 24/7 STEEMhead almost forgot to stick to the plan. The “scheduled” content still needed to be created. Still feeling as lightheaded as if he had just cut off seven years of dreadlocks, the STEEMhead picked up the nearest crab and began again with the photos and video.

Obviously applying pressure to the wound with one had restricted the capabilities a little, but this content was not going to create itself.

The time when people were satisfied with simply telling scar stories has long since passed. These days, if you can’t post about it, it probably didn’t happen. This is an important lesson to learn. Keep that camera handy and always be ready to takes some selfies or make a vlog. Anything less will never be enough to label you as a 24/7 STEEMhead. Steem on, and steemit like you mean it!

Hello @papa-pepper. I translated this post in Russian. Translation here: https://steemit.com/inspiration/@igor-steem/priklyucheniya-24-7-stimogolovogo-epizod-5-sozdanie-kontenta-i-rany-v-golovu . Thank you! Congratulations! For this post voted, it seems, all the STEEMHeads :-) I also liked it.

Spent the weekend in the Everglades road-cruising at night for pythons and such. Found a small burmese, several cottonmouths and rats. Watch your footing when you step out of the truck! I paid the price with a nice gash and a semi-sprained wrist. One foot made it to the ground, the other in canal...since I was holding a camera in my right, my left hand took the brunt of it....luckily my brother the firefighter/EMT @resistancmedic was on the case once I made it home!

Bleeding with you

BLEED THAT CONTENT - BLEED THAT CONTENT!

I definitely bled for that pic, thankfully my camera didn't take a dive into the canal....just my leg

(
Our first hit for the night, a small baby burmese python, just trying to warm itself up on the road!

Man, I am so coming down there!

"Gets headwound.

Take Selfie.

I bleed content."

Hahaha, that is pure comedy gold buddy. You my friend are a savage, love all your posts and videos. Keep it up, upvoted, following and resteeming!

LOL- Why not?

#comic-genius

Pepper content, sorry for the wounds @papa-pepper. I would gladly take that wound as it served it purpose though.
"Don't waste your time online, invest it on steemit" am taking this home with me. See

The wounds will heal, but the blockchain will live on!

@papa-pepper
First things first. I love your content.

So stop bleeding blood and take care to bleed more content.

I bet the little peppers were scared lol

They had a reasonable level of concern, but they've also seen some stuff in their days and kept their cool. In the end, we moved past it and had a great day.

You just have to give it your all there is no other way. Head wounds, people falling caught on camera all of that is a blessing to the steemheads, tubers, vlogers, facebookers and so on soo keep it up! 😄

Keeping it up!

That's real blood and you vlogged about it? You truly live up to your reputation of being a wild man @papa-pepper. Hope the wound is not deep. Kudos to @little-peppers for handling that.

It was bloody, but not deep. Healing up well, and it makes a good laugh!

Thanks @life.goals!

Better to make a few bob out of it hey. Plus it goes to shows you don’t always need medical assistance better the natural way. @Papa-pepper showing the world how to brake free :)

Good thing you had a couple lil' peppers on hand to look after you.

Yeah, they kept their cool and did a great job.

Eventually they got me cleaned up and made sure that I was safe to drive.

This goes along great with the video "Man almost loses his arm making a video for steemit" that I will be putting out next week after I edit the video content.

Oh no!

being a dad ain't easy day-to-day, a little levity and improvisation is always required! ... peace

Glad that you liked it! Thanks @clumsysilverdad!

"I bleed content" xDDD that was the best part. In my city when it gets to 50°C we should be able to sweat content D:

This is amazing...

Now you need to get ready to post your follow-up article about how this was all part of your original content plan and thank your photographer, make-up artist, director, video editor and all of the crew for making this epic story a reality! Oh, and start writing your Emmy (Oscars?) Speech :D

Hope your head is doing alright!

The head is healing. So far, so good. Thanks for your concern!

Follow me and I still like you

How can I get that kind of time to spend here on steemit.com

SERIOUSLY, how can I, commuting to work, some days as much as 1.5. Hours early. I wish I could spend that time viewing steemit content. or writing or painting it.

Oh, you. Also, now I know what I suspect is your legal name.

Really?

Well, I've forgotten by now, a year later. ;)
