Pain is a reminder that we are mere mortals no matter the tough exterior we tend to display. Pain is a reminder that we have feelings and are liable to hurt. Pain is a gauge that reads our fragility and vulnerability, it reminds us that we need our souls to be taken care of by ourselves first and then others. We humans tend to deny ourselves the freedom to express pain viewing it from our perspective that portraying its depth is a sign of weakness. So instead, we bury it deep within ourselves till we have a colossal castle built from past hurts. Pain is an emotion which is felt and there's no better way of being painless than letting it all out and freeing our hearts.
