And qualified to fly a light-sport aircraft with an altitude of 10,000 feet. She was trained under the Able Flight scholarship and performed under the command of Parrish Traweek.
Cox sports pilot certificate is for an ERCO 415-C Ercoupe which the Federal Aviation Administration specified a light sport aircraft. The Ercoupe was built without rudder pedals and was designed in 1940's. And as an alternative the rudder is interconnected with the ailerons through the yoke. In that way Cox can controlled the airplane with one foot on the yoke and the other foot controls the throttle.
