But you are a chosen people, royal priests, a holy nation, a people for God’s own possession. You were chosen to tell about the wonderful acts of God, who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.
Thoughts to Ponder:
Privilege is something we mostly take advantage for our own benefit. It’s being used as an excuse for our entitled behaviors.
God’s Word is reminding us that privilege is actually a product of generosity.Generosity is a key factor in having it.
He has given us freely the greatest privilege, by calling us out of our dark world “into his wonderful light.”
As Christians, we’ve been chosen to share this powerful blessing.
Through God’s love and mercy we’ve been given this chance.
An experience that has changed our lives for all eternity should not be kept away. The more blessed we are with a special gift all the more we should share it to others.
Let us start today.
Share because those around us should also know about God’s transforming love.
Dear Father,
Thank you for this gift like no other – for shining Your light over our world filled with darkness.
Your great love saved us from the power of the enemy and sin.
We’re asking everyday for You to help us share this good news to the people around us.
