Change they say is constant, it stands as a word alone until some effort or force is applied to the mere six letters. But what they never say about change is the direction that change is headed, and what amount of will, force and effort is needed to push the wheels to motion.
I can relate the word change to "finished product" because in the process of change it is possible and easy to revert to ones previous state.
More often people use the phrase "change for the better" meaning at your current state you haven't met a specific standard or you could be in need of that "change" because your attitude/character towards life scores below average. Maybe you are an addict or generally you are up to "no good", and your name is synonymous with negativity at every turn, maybe it's a simple change of habit that is expected of you. Whatever the demand, it is necessary to know that change isn't easy, it's not some mission impossible but its never a walk in the park in the true sense.
Every new years eve we make resolutions, honestly 90% of the time we find ourselves 365 days later making the same resolution, that's because It's near impossible to switch a routine or lifestyle you are very much used to. What I do is simple I keep something as helpful as a mobile reminder on my phone, it doesn't guarantee results but it brings me steps closer to achieving set goals. Most people make a to-do-list and pin/stick it to their fridge or wall so they can look at it. It wouldn't hurt to pray about it too or ask a friend to see you through, two heads are better than one....unless its Dumb & Dumber vs Einstein, well we know how that would turn out.
So, you may want to quit smoking or lets say quit having unprotected sex, stealing, leave the habit of pathologically lying, do better at your job, chase your dreams or become better at whatever you've always wanted. It starts somewhere and if you ever do succeed your next task is maintaining your climb and avoiding relapse. A word of advice don't listen to anyone or any notion that says "it can't be done" those are the agents deliberately put in your path by a force we should call "The Resistance Against Change" (TRAC) of which procrastination is its Grand Wizard. Mind you not all change is for the best, there's a negative and positive end to it and we as humans become a pendulum until we decide where to stop.
So "bonne chance" on your journey or shall I say adventure to new frontiers, Cheers.
