Projects That Inspire Me to be a Better Steemian –# 2

in inspire •  7 years ago  (edited)

I often find myself interacting with a project here on Steemit that leaves me wanting to be a better Steemian. These projects are ongoing either daily or weekly. While I can’t financially support them outside of an upvote. I can at least help bring attention to them, and inform my fellow followers many who are newer to Steemit.

This evolving project is a minnows dream. First is it backed by some rather respected, and honored witnesses who use this project to focus on minnows. Bringing attention to their talent they bring to Steemit; while also, using their influence in the community to improve Steemit for minnows.

They have a very active discord channel for minnows to talk in and improve. While also having a wide range of places to get help. This guide here written by gmuxx goes into detail of some of the helper bots this project uses. This older but still useful blog by minnowsupport shows you just how much they improve over time; while, going into further detail about joining them.

This contest is based on one of those choose your own adventures where you have to pick an option either as a solo player or as team. Base on choice you can progress in the story line, gain an item to use later, or die. This is one of those things that bring large members of the community together over a short or longer period of time depending how long the last surviving people make it.

The last game just ended and can be found here. The next one is expected to start very soon.

Jessicakluthe is a writing teacher who brings what she is doing in the class room into Steemit. She provides many different kinds of writing exercises that are made to challenge the way you see writing; but also, how you write. They can be tips such as how to write a 50 word story to a topic more complex death.

This exercise is an easy and perfect thing to add into your daily routine. Its mission is rather simple. A daily reminder to be thankful no matter how good or bad your day is going. Some days people are just thankful for still being alive; while others, you had tacos for dinner! Hey, you also get a small share of the liquid payout as well. July 10th blog can be found here.

This project promotes Steemit musicians to show what they got on a weekly basis. It has users recording themselves preforming songs that are original or ones they like. There are a wide range of instruments being used by the community from singing, piano and, even guitar to name some. Week 41 can be found here.
