This pen sketch is an exploration in rendering,
inspired by the skilled and patient work of @achristopherart. Here I was following his lead to see how different lines and patterns combine to make varying black values. This turned out pretty okay - it's a foundation to build up my ink skillz stronger.
Through the years, I have spent plenty of time with Mr. Micron, and I still enjoy his company. This sketch pulled me in soon after I got the first patterns/hatching done. Seeing the possibilities of the mighty pen stretched before me once again, I felt thankful to be a part of this gargantuan inspiration machine known as steemit beta.
