Intrepreneur Community Update

in int •  5 years ago

In a perfect world, evolving an idea would be effortless. However, the reality is that the unexpected always happens.

Crypto is especially prone to the unexpected, since there are literally thousands of new coins and tokens available every month, you never really know what to expect. Anything can happen, it really depends on how well it's developed, and how much support a project gets. As well as how often there are updates being made to keep up with changes in real-world demand.

Intrepreneur is obviously no exception, of course, there have been some changes made to the initial planning.

Airdrop:

  • The airdrop (for INT stakers) was supposed to happen on August 14th, that date has been changed to August 20th-21st. Giving more time to new users to get their INT staked.

Staking:

  • The plan was that there would be 84 days of waiting to completely unstake your selected amount of INT. It now only takes 7 days to completely unstake your INT.

Payouts:

  • Instead of receiving all of your INT rewards in liquid form, 99% of the rewards will be paid out in the form of staked INT.

Community Guidelines:

  • The free-for-all is over. We're cleaning up the Trending Page. Too many people have been abusing the #int tag, posting effortless "spam" type posts. These posts will hereby be identified and henceforth flagged*, as a means to stop the spread of reward pool farming. First time offenders will receive a written warning, second timers will get a small flag, third time offenders will be muted.
* Being flagged 3 times will result in an account being muted, causing INT rewards to stop being distributed to the user. Users will be able to have this reversed by making the necessary changes to their posts and appealing their case inside the #appeals channel on Discord.

Our Mission:

  • As has been previously stated, Intrepreneur's mission is to be a place for entrepreneurs of all kinds to come together to share ideas, work alongside like minds, and help each other.

We welcome you to join our community and be a part of something better.

So it will be staked automaticly?

Yes.

Thats amazing! :D

I'm glad to see you taking steps to "clean up" the tribe content a bit!

I bought and staked some INT, but have mostly been sitting back to watch the "nature" of the tribe unfold... and frankly, it was making me a bit uneasy to see all the "Actifit" posts and other stuff go by that has NOTHING to do with entrepreneurship.

I like the (effectively) 100% staking, too. Not sure about the 7-day unstaking... that's not a very big time commitment (once upon a time Steem was TWO YEARS to power down), but maybe people will behave responsibly.

The 7-day unstaking was actually an accident as I was not overly familiar with the settings when setting up ScotBot. I'd asked if everything was right and was acknowledged that it was, apparently not. Could be worse I guess, I've actually started to see the good in it.

Thanks for your support.

I don’t mind automatic staking one bit, makes my life a whole lot easier and a lot less clicking in Steem engine

As for the muting good on ya! I didn’t know muting removes all rewards a certain tribe! I think that’s absolutely brilliant! I hope more tribes start making use of this feature

I had no idea it worked like that either. Apparently, the issuing account would simply need to mute each specific user that was breaking the "rules" or "guidelines".

I wouldn't have set the rewards to go 99% to stake if I hadn't accidentally configured INT to unstake completely in 7 days. Since that is the case, it makes sense to stake as much as possible and if someone wants to dump all of it they only have to wait a week.

Sounds perfect...

Doing our best :) Thanks for your support @johnskotts!
