Intrepreneur.Life, is a tokenized blogging platform that seeks to support international & internet-based entrepreneurs in creating and managing an online professional portfolio. Whether it be to update followers on your business' ongoing development and promotions, for conducting customer satisfaction questionnaires or to reward loyal clients for their consistent patronage, Intrepreneur.Life, is a created space where business professionals - of all competencies - can share, grow & learn from each other; all while earning INT.
Though it has been a quiet first few months for Intrepreneur, as mentioned in the updated whitepaper one of our new token sinks will be for our Community Writers’ Contests. This document will serve to describe the manner in which these contests will be run starting from the month of February 2020.
** Please note that this is a newly implemented service and may be subject to further refinement in the coming months.*
Community Writers’ Contests Overview
Frequency –
These writer's contests will be run monthly (with the possibility of twice a month depending on demand.)
Sponsors -
These contests will be sponsored in part by Exemplars of Entrepreneurship, both from the real world & within the cryptospace. In exchange for providing prizes, sponsors will be given advertising for their business in the contest's post, while also making a point to showcase whatever ongoing promotion they may have at that given time.
Example -
"This Month's Community Writer's Contest is sponsored by Splinterlands!
The contest post will then highlight;
(i) Splinterlands (The Business/Service)
(ii) Their Founders (Exemplars of Entrepreneurship)
(ii) The newly released Untamed cards (ongoing promotion/new product for which they wish to garner interest)
&
(iv) Their Question (assists Sponsors in obtaining market research for their provided services, as well as possible offered assistance or partnerships from our community of Intrepreneurs.)Prizes - Splinterlands starter packs, DEC, assorted gift cards etc"
During the month that a given contest is run, there will be follow-up posts on a weekly basis which will continue to showcase that contest’s sponsor & whatever aspect of their business they wish to advertise for that week of the month.
Promoting a different facet of one’s business in each weekly follow-up post is allowed, (eg. week one a sponsor may wish to advertise an ongoing product/service, and depending on the community feedback that is received, can then opt to advertise something else in their second week of promotion, and so on.)
As mentioned above, Sponsors have the power of choosing what is asked of our community for a given contest, which can further serve to support whatever aspect of their business they wish to garner interest or market research for.

How has crypto-gaming supported your entrepreneurial dream?
Which STEEM dApp or tribe do you use most frequently and why?
** Lastly, please note that while the quantity & value of the prizes are left up to the discretion of the Sponsor, to qualify as a sponsor we require (i) a minimum of 5 offered prizes (1st through 5th,) and (ii) that all offered prizes be verifiable on the blockchain.
Entry Fee -
There is a 20 - 100 INT entry fee (depending on the prizes offered), which participants will send to the account, @int-contests, along with the link to their contest entry.
These submitted entry fees will be added to 1/2 of the liquid accumulated token rewards (STEEM, SBD & INT,) on all contest posts related to a given promotion, and serve as the Prize Pool for awarding winners.
The remaining 1/2 of the accumulated post rewards will be split evenly among the Intrepreneur Team members & Sponsor representatives (should they provide any,) that serve as judges for that contest.
Winners’ Prizes -
(i) Sponsored gifts (1st through 5th) related to the showcased service for that contest. Please note that these prizes must be verifiable on the blockchain
(ii) A split prize pool of collected entry fees & 1/2 of the accumulated liquid token rewards (INT, STEEM & SBD) on all contest posts related to a given promotion.
(iii) 100% upvotes & the possibility of resteems from Intrepreneur Team members on winning posts.
Contest Judges -
Intrepreneur Team Members along with the occasional Sponsor representatives will review and cast votes on which articles they deem to be worthy of each prize place (1st to 5th, etc.)
Winners are announced at the end of the contest (last day/start of each month,) which also marks the start of a new Writer’s Contest.
