Good morning! I'm up and about just getting a second cup of morning tea. It's Earl Grey, my absolute favorite, and I try to enjoy every sip of it. It's part of morning rotinue.
Yesterday, they were calling for rain here, with a chance of a little bit of a mix. Well, turns out...it was mostly snow and ice. It was simply beautiful, there was fresh blanket of snow that covered the farm. It always looks like this place had a make -over. The fresh snow gives the illusion that the bare trees, and rusty paint chipped barns are new and vibrant. I love to just stare out window and be present with the weather.
Being present in life is something I try to do, so that it happens more frequently than not. I've spent many years of my life living in the past, or future, and never completely enjoying the now, when in reality that's all we ever really have. It took me quite a long time to realize this, but I fully understand the importance of this now. Life has changed, and I am truly embracing the "art" of living in the now.
I hope you get to know this way of living, it's true freedom! ;-)
