This time-lapse recorded by Peter Maier, from Switzerland, captures the exact moment in which a microburst of water over a lake occurs.
The phenomenon is due to the formation of a microburst, the abrupt descent of a mass of air, which when traversing a storm cloud carries with it tons (and tons) of water, for what it receives the name of "wet microburst."
