I love the way those mirrors, with their beautiful ( wooden carved? ) frames, complements the hole in the wall exposing the steel reinforcement bars from the concrete. Somehow there's no way out, you're a prisoner, and all you have is the depths of yourself from the mirrors.

This is a strange corner room - all but abandoned - in the attic of the historic, storied Culver Hotel. I thought about including the backstory in the post but I wanted it to speak for itself first, leaving its own impression.

This landmark is completely open to the public. Most of it is opulent and luxurious over-the-top Art Deco, which I adore. But there are a couple of very odd corners like this one. These are the untold stories I’m absolutely dying to hear.
