January 10th 2018 Week 1
Started a new trend this year for losing weight, intermitted fasting. Been a long time coming since I passed 30 years old and haven't been trying very hard to be healthy. Now with a family and a son I've decided to try and do things differently. IF (intermitted fasting) is a lifestyle change that you skip breakfast and lunch and try to wait until mid afternoon to eat all your food. The idea is to get your body to work like it used to thousands of years ago, using the stored up fat and energy to fuel itself. This allows to to burn the extra stuff we all don't need. It has been hard so far but coffee helps, black no sugar and no cream just something to take off the edge a little.
Day 1 was Monday the 8th just know thinking about letting all of you know my progress. I am going to go to the gym today and weigh myself. see where I started and then I am going to do a weekly update to give you guys results.

Update:
My weigh in was 241.2 lb. This is my first weigh in since December 20th, 2017, the last time I was at the gym. My weight that day was 246 lb. Now I do not know if this is weight I have loss from the fasting just yet, but I will say every since Monday and the start of this journey I have felt less bloated and filled with more energy. For the next 3 months I am committed to this intermittent fasting, and I plan on letting all of you know my progress.
