Intermittent Fasting and how it helps with weight loss

I my self have been struggling with belly fat weight lost and my own self image for some time now. Over the years of growing up in our society we always get told about how this pill can magically loose us weight. Our health and diet has been completely wrong over and over again. We were told to eat certain foods, train and certain times and not be so lazy. The hidden key was, just stop eating so much food! What is intermittent fasting though? Intermittent fasting is a scheduled eating plan where you simply restrict your normal daily eating window to 6 - 8 hours without cutting calories. There are certain time frames you can do. I fast for 23 hours a day and only eat 1 hour out of the day. This is a higher level of fasting which I don't recommend right away. Now before everyone starts commenting you're "Starving your-self" lets put some facts in this.

  1. Decreases triglyceride levels, decreasing your risk of heart disease
  2. decreases Inflammation and free radical damage
  3. Weight gain and metabolic disease decreases
  4. Increases insulin and leptin sensitivity, reducing the risk of chronic disease, from diabetes to heart disease and even cancer.
  5. Increase your ability to burn fat instead of sugars and carbs.

When we intake food we use the sugars, carbs etc from those foods to fuel our self. This works but not for long.. we are making our bodies forget how to burn fat by eating so much throughout the day while we have all this stored fat. We want our bodies to burn the fat as that is its preferred fuel source. When we eating sugar drinks and cheese burgers it will give us long of energy for a small amount of time and then gets stored to fat cells. How do we access these fat cells? by fasting ! 6-8 hours is when your boy goes into a fasting ketosis state. That means it starts burning fat instead of the other nutrients. When we were primal animals way back when, we would hunt for days without food. Running many miles and burning more calories then ever. How did our bodies last? When we caught an animal we would eat as much as we could, have our bodies store it as fat and use it to hunt all over again.

What are some good foods to be eating ?
Nuts, Chicken, green vegetables, coconut oil, avocados, onions, garlic, ginger, kale and much more
Stay away from Fires, Pasta, Bread, Potatoes, Soda, fast food

When should I fast?
Fast from 7am to 11 am
Workout at 11 am to 12 pm
Eat 12 pm to 6 pm
Fast 6 pm -11 pm
Sleep 12 am - 7am

You can alter this and look into more detailed meal plans if interested, this is a recommended one to give a try! In conclusion I hope everyone who is struggling with weight seriously look into this subject and see the benefits from this.
