Journey so far- OMAD (one meal a day)

Earlier this year I went for my yearly overseas trip, this time it was a return to Thailand.
Staying in rather lavish hotels meant that the food was good, and so were the cocktails (not so cheap though!).
I felt that my heavy eating would be slightly off set by the heat and continuous walking I did. It turns out, I was wrong.
When I returned to Australia, I had reached a weight which I had not seen in many years. I was enbarrassed and disheartened, not surprised though.
I had previously tried every diet under the sun, from no carbs to the grapefruit diet (I don't recommend it).
I was searching for a new way to spike my weightloss when I discovered a youtube video which talked about the benefits of fasting on the body, it peaked my interest straight away.
I jumped right into it, basically fasting for 24 hours every day and eating one meal (which is relatively healthy, but leaves some room to enjoy life).
The concept is that for most people, it is difficult to eat over your daily calorie intake in one meal if you stick to a balanced meal.
Simple right?. Well, it really is.
Since I started, I have experienced a gradual weight loss, in just over 2 months I have lost 13kgs. That is without ANY excercise or real sacrifices.
I can still enjoy my life, have dinner with friends, and eat home cooked meals.
I highly recommend this lifestyle change to everyone wanting to lose weight, it seems like a sort of life hack, but if you have the commitment and patience, it could very well be the best change you ever make.
Be sure to speak to your doctor before starting though, just in case 😁
