US President Donald Trump responds to North Korean leader Kim Jong-un's deal and South Korean President Moon Jae-in to sign a peace deal this year.
Through Twitter, he welcomed the events achieved after the summit on Friday (27/4). Nevertheless, he still seemed wary to respond.
"After a year of anger filled with missile launches and nuclear tests, a meeting between North and South Korea is now under way, but it's only time that can answer," Trump said via Twitter.
After meeting with Moon, Kim plans to meet with Trump in May this. So far, North Korea considers nuclear weapons necessary to ward off threats from the United States.
