WASHINGTON - Analysts at the US-based International Science and Security Institute David Albright said in the next few years North Korea will be in nuclear weapons.
He predicts, North Korea will have at least 100 nuclear weapons in 2020. Albright said that the world should be prepared for the worst scenario, namely the North is secretly continuing to test nuclear weapons. He believes, North Korea's nuclear will not only grow in number, but also in technology.
"North Korea's nuclear weapons are likely to be more sophisticated than those of other countries," said Albright in a report released by the institute. "The secret tests conducted by North Korea will make them have mature and growing technology."
Launch Spuntik on Sunday (15/3/2015), this assumption according to Albright appears because it believes North Korea has two factories, laboratories and a secret test location. One factory is located in Yongbyon Nuclear Scientific Research Center, a major nuclear facility 60 km north of Pyongyang.
He also said he got the information from some of the North Koreans who managed to escape. According to reports he received, North Korea is suspected to be building a third factory, But, related to the third factory Albright admitted he has not verified the information submitted by his informant.
