The U S Venezuela Conflict Has Exposed A Huge And Dangerous Hole In Our Modern Democratic Civilization: lack of international arbitrary institutionality.

As I observe the conflict between the United State and Venezuela develop, this last stage has exposed the very cold reality that the world is not civilize, we are still under the lay of the jungle.

Three factors of the current stage of this conflict make it very clear that the world of the United Nations (The principal institution of our civilization) is not a civilized world:

1 The lack of an international authority to rule on electoral affairs in states if local authorities fail.

There is no doubt that each democratic state has electoral laws and institutions to implement them but when the case arises where party or parties accuse another of illegitimately winning an election and the local authorities of corrupt activities, requiring neutral international institutional intervention to first verify if there is merit to the accusation and if so be, to formally try the case and make binding decision, no such institution exist.

In the case of Venezuela, the opposition, the U S and their allies accuse the government and local authorities of illegitimacy and corruption, with nothing being proven by an institution with formal authority, so it is a case of the international taking of the law into their own hand and that is no part of a civilize world.

2 The lack of an international authority to rule on state to state property relationship.

The United State and allies seize control of properties and assets of the state of Venezuela and started to use them as they will although they have no authority over those assets and there is no i international arbitrary institution with the authority to rule on the matter.

3 Laçk of international authority with binding and enforcing decision making mandate to rule on the use of economic, financial sanctions and military force by individual states against others.

The United State accuses the Venezuelan government of illegitimacy, imposed extremely damaging sanctions on the nation while threatening to use military force against them and even before they were accused of illegitimacy the damaging sanctions, including ones that affected the health and food supply of the population were already being imposed and there is no international institution with the authority and mandate to ensure that nations do not take malicious and damaging economic, military or other actions against other states unjustly.

Weaker nations are exposed and at the mercy of stronger ones and our civilization has extremely dangerous arbitrary holes that need filling up.
