You use them on a daily basis, whether its googling a medical symptom to shopping online. There are tons of browsers out there. These are my two favorite browsers when not using Google Chrome.
Vivaldi
A Browser for Our Friends
Vivaldi is the new kid on the block and making the biggest waves. It was released in early 2016 by the founder of Opera. With all its tweaks and customization its becoming a favorite for power users and geeks alike. If you like playing around and customizing.. then give this a go. Come on Android users, you know you want to :D
- Customizable Speed Dial/Start page with folder groups
- Auto Color - changing UI to match the website you’re viewing
- Custom themes with scheduling for day and night time themes
- Mouse and rocker gestures
- Tab stacking, tiling, cycling, hibernating and preview options
Opera
Fast, secure, easy-to-use browser
Opera has been around forever it seems.. I remember using it on some of my earliest Symbian devices. The most talked about feature at the moment is the built in VPN (Virtual Private Network) functionality. Apparently, 2 million users were added to Operas user base since the introduction of the VPN. Another cool built in feature is the ad blocker. Opera is a rock solid and fast performing browser.
- Built in unlimited SurfEasy VPN
- Built in adblocker
- Battery saver mode to reduce battery drain while unplugged
- Opera Turbo pre-compresses pages on Opera servers which serves you smaller files essentially speeding up your page load times and saving you bandwidth
- Video popout enables floating video window
Conclusion: Its up to you. I have tried many browsers in my time and i always find myself migrating back to chrome. I am not sure if this is because its a better browser or if i just enjoy living the google ecosystem. My fallback browser would have to be Opera though.. with its built in ad blocker and VPN whats not to like?
best tips. thanks for all
