INTRODUCTION
Internet is a global system of interconnection computer networks that users the standard internet protocol(Tcp/Ip) to link several millions of devices worldwide.
It can also said to be the largest computer network, the network of networks, scattered all over tge world. Imagine millions of computers in each country linked together. Here,we say that internet is a globalconnection of millions of computers in a single network.
The internet offer access to data, graphic, sound, software, text and people through a variety of services and tools for communications and data exchange.
ORIGIN OF INTERNET
Internet has been in existence since 1960s when the United State Department of Defence( DOD)which has global activities with concept in mine about 1964,gathered scientist together to realize the probability if this WAN(wide Area network)to take control of their systems. This department of defence (DOD) created an agency known as Research Projects Agency(ARPA) which is presently known as Defence Advanced Research projects Agency(DARPA).
In 1967, Department of Defence in United state of America built a network called ARPANET(Advanced Research Projects Agency network). The idea behind this was to create a network that would allow user of research computer at one University to Communicate with research computer from others Universities. They became so popular that all Universities in the country wanted to join them. It was later converted to two sites in order to meet the demand i.e MILNET sites for millitary and ARPANET, which had a non-millitary sites.
The technology continued to grow in the 1970s after scientists Robert Kann and Victor Cerf developed Transmission control peotocol and Internet Protocol(Tcp/Ip), a communication modols that set standards for how data could be transmitted between multiple networks. ARPANET adopted tcp/ip on January 1983 and from there researchers began to assemble the "network if networks" that became the modern internet.
In 1972,there was four sites attached to the ARPANET. Few years later(i.e 1980), another network called CSNET( Computee Research Network) was linked to ARPANET.Thier purpose was to connect several independent networks.
In later half of 1980, NSF(National Science Foundation) also built its own network called NSFNET it was powerful in term of speed. It was used to connect the super computer centers of NSF. As this networking technology came into existence. New network was linked to ARPANET,CSNET and NSFNET.
All networks connected together came to be known as INTERNET.
Unfortunately, the ARPANET and CSNET were closing down and NSFNET, being a better network, became the network linking other networks on the internet.
In 1989,the world wide web(www)(an inter-based system of inteelinked pages of information) was born and in the early 1990s, The combination if e-mail,the web and online chat propelled the internet into national and international prominence.
The online world the took on a more recognized form in 1990s, when computer scientist Tim Berners inverted the world wide web.
These researchers found enabling environment in four Universities,They are:
1.University of california,Los Angeles.
2.Standard Research Institute.
3.University of California at Santa Barbara.
4.The University of Utah.

Very nice research. I will urge you to always cross check your article before you post it to avoid gramatical error.
Also I would be if you show the source of your photo which you upload if it is not yours.
