Internet of Coins raises $ 1 million as Crowdfunding campaign exceeds expectations

The Internet of Coins (IoC) , a Dutch-based nonprofit project for the development of a decentralized digital portfolio, open and accessible for personal finance, is pleased to announce its successful crowdfunding campaign . The campaign started on March 21, 2017, has raised more than $ 1,000,000 (USD) since its launch. Internet of Coins aims to provide the world financial freedom, through the evolution of the blockchain.

In cooperation with the Netherlands NLNet Foundation and the Conservation of Commons, the Internet of Coins project is developing a portfolio infrastructure to connect all the blockchain together. The system can work with different forms of digital value and smart contracts. Two months ago, the global campaign began to raise funds to develop new technologies for decentralized storage and exchange of value. The Dutch fund SIDN later provided a donation for initial development.

The founder of Internet of Coins, Joachim de Koning, highlights the company's interest in cryptones, stating,

"We are building a robust website for personal finance, to build connections between existing decentralized economies like Bitcoin, Ethereum, Bitshares and the new economic movement. We are building an inclusive system, and we want to see any criptomoneda become part of this open network. The whole code is, therefore, free and open source. "

Internet of Coins contains a "transactional operating system" that unifies digital value platforms like Bitcoin. Crowdfund funds are used to fund the development team and establish rewards. The campaign has a donation model, to guarantee the independence of the project. Within the first four weeks of crowdfunding, the campaign exceeded the initial goal of $ 300,000, donated to more than seven blockchain platforms. The crowdfund runs until June 21, 2017.
